Imagine stepping 50 years into the future and Memphis is a smart city designed to be totally sustainable. Engineers are making plans for a sustainable world right now, and it’s coming to the giant screen! BLDG Memphis invites community development leaders, engineers, architects, and community members to view the exhibit and IMAX film, Cities of the Future 3D at the Pink Palace Giant Screen Theater on Tuesday April 8th from 4pm – 7pm. BLDG Memphis is the local community economic development association that fosters self-sufficient Memphis neighborhoods by strengthening our Members and their communities, advocating for equitable policies, and activating civic engagement and community planning. We will also host a panel after the film to highlight Memphis’ rich culture combined with increasing investments for a more sustainable built environment and more livable communities.
